On Friday, March 2nd, the officiating crew in Raleigh were joined by some special guests before their game between the New Jersey Devils and the Carolina Hurricanes.

Referees Jean Hebert and Frederic Lecuyer, along with Linesmen Matt MacPherson and Derek Nansen had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with a couple young up and coming officials from the Raleigh area.

Sean Miller and Mike Pudalo were invited down behind the scenes into the officials locker room for a brief chat and the opportunity to ask questions of the crew that night. The pair also had the opportunity to put on their equipment and get out on the ice for a pre-game skate and to stand alongside the officials at center ice for the National Anthem.

Sean and Mike, it was a pleasure meeting you and we wish you all the best with your officiating! Keep up the good work!
