Biography
Born and raised in Swift Current, Sask. he played hockey, baseball, football and ran track throughout high school. Then spent a year at Bemidji State College, Minn and transfered to San Diego State the following year where his dad, Bill Bozak, was head trainer of the San Diego Gulls of the old WHL and later was head trainer for the Winnipeg Jets and finally the Washington Capitals. During his time in San Diego he began officating in the WHL which led to a career in the NHL where he worked over 1500 regular season games, multiple playoff series and two All-Star games in 22 years.
He has enjoyed retirement since 1994 while trying his hand at at a few different ventures. Two happily married daughters and six grandkids comprise his family.
He resides in San Diego.
